Use “in” when something is inside a space or container.

  • You put your toys in the toy box.
  • We play in the park.

Use “at” when you’re talking about a specific place or spot. For Example:

  • We are at the school.
  • She is waiting at the bus stop.

Use “on” when something is resting on a surface or a part of something. For Example:

  • The book is on the table.
  • We put stickers on our notebooks.

Write the past form of the verb in the parenthesis

1. She lives Los Angeles.

2. She was waiting for me the bus stop.

3. We had dinner the new restaurant downtown.

4. We went for a swim the lake.

5. They placed their jackets the chairs.

6. I found the keys the kitchen counter.

7. I met my friend the coffee shop.

8. The files are the cabinet.

9. The book is the table.
